Former Miss Spirit of Indiana Joins Scholarship Board

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Miss Spirit of Indiana and Miss Heart of the Midwest Scholarship Organizations are proud to announce the addition of former titleholder, Ashley Monk, to their board as the executive producer.

Originally from Indianapolis, Ashley is a passionate about empowering the next generation. She leverages a unique background in both the performing and creative arts, bringing extensive performance experience to the table.

From performing in musical theatre productions, show choirs, worship ministries, directing and producing, writing and recording for several albums, in addition to privately coaching vocalists and instrumentalists, Ashley is thrilled to implement these skills not only for the 2019 program, but to also help prepare future titleholders for the state and national competitions.

With all of the changes coming to the Miss America Organization as a whole, Ashley could not be more excited to serve and support our state leadership, in addition to a new generation of strong, capable, intelligent, and talented women.

She competed for three years in the Miss America Organization before she was crowned the first Miss Spirit of Indiana in 2016. She resides in Fishers, Indiana with her husband Dallas and their two dogs.
